I have 33 years experience as a practicing musician in piano, voice, choral music, band music, trumpet, orchestral music, viola, musical theater, opera, organ, synthesizer, conducting and church music.  I am a Certificated TK-12 music teacher in California and currently teach in the Arvin Union School District.  I have previously taught music in the Lake Tahoe Unified, Carson City (NV) and Washoe County (NV) school districts. 

 

I hold a M.M. degree in Choral Conducting from the University of North Dakota and most recently was a Pianist/Accompanist for St. Gall Catholic Church in Gardnerville, NV and First Presbyterian Church of Carson City, NV.  I have also been a Director of Music Ministry at Covenant Presbyterian Church and Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Athens, GA.  I have been an associate conductor of the UND Varsity Bards and Alaska Chamber Chorale, as well as a guest conductor for the Athens Chamber Singers, Tahoe Community Orchestra and Chorus, Grand Forks Master Chorale,  and Trinity Valley Community College Cardinal Singers.   I have also been active as a conductor and instructor for Lake Tahoe Community College.
